Celebrations As Dr. Jim Okolo to be Conferred With Leadership Excellence Award Nov. 2

The Chairman/CEO, Jimez Petroleum Resources Limited, Hon. Chief Jim Okolo Chimezie is set to be conferred with the prestigious Leadership Excellence (LEEX) Award, organised by Igbere TV.

In the award taking place Nov. 2 in Abuja, he will be honoured as Democracy Advocate of the Year.

This is in recognition of his numerous contributions towards enriching democratic culture in society.

He recently received accreditation as Nigerian Team Lead for the upcoming US presidential election.

With this, he is set to be part of international observers in the November 6 high-stake election in which the former President, Donald Trump is seeking a return, plotting to upstage the incumbent Democratic Party government.

Our correspondent sighted his accreditation number 16/US-2024.

Dr. Okolo has had a high profile global engagements in recent times especially with regards to building democratic culture and ensuring the sanctity of the ballot.

Not long ago, he also got accreditation as Nigerian Team Lead of Int’l Elections Observers by the UN/ Switzerland government.

Credibility in electoral process is one of the areas he is passionate about as an advocate of good governance.

He was first appointed as International Elections Diplomat by the United Nations after an intensive training which took place in the Republic of Benin in March.
The training was held earlier this year at the University of Lomè in partnership with the AU, UN and the NP. Dr. Okolo just three weeks ago received the certificate that confirmed him the lead national coordinator of the global election observation body.

LEEX award comes up NAF conference Centre Abuja on November 2, 2024.
