Breaking News: Winner of Bayelsa’s Got the Talent Season one gets N2,000,000.
In February 2022 the CEO of Silverflame Media Mr Sylvester Sede took a team to, Brass, Ogbia, Nembe, Kolokumma/Opokuma, Sagbama, Southern Ijaw, Ekeremor and Yenagoa, the eight local government areas in Bayelsa State in search of the next big talent in the state.
From the inlands to the creeks contest where sort out.
The competition was structured and executed in three phases. Phase one; Bayelsan’s Got the Talent auditioned hundreds of contestant across all Local government areas of the state, after the first stage of the hunt, five contestants each were selected in seven of the eight local government areas and ten from Yenagoa local government for a second stage of auditions which then saw these forty-five (45) contestants reduced to twenty-three and the disqualification of three contestants for misconducts, saw twenty contestant standing at the wrapping up of phase one of the competition.
Phase two of the competition the contestants had a video production made to showcase their talent to the public via the Silverflame Youtube channel @SilverflameTV. This was done with the plan to publicize and market every contestant that made it that far and the contestants were also judged by how well the content was viewed and liked by the public. Phase two ended with ten contestants making it to the grand finale and one step away from winning the grand Prize of two million.
The grand finale of Bayelsan’s Got the Talent was the final phase of a well-planned and executed state talent showcase. Ten contestants, one stage and one winner. For Winner Tom Teks, the 31st of July 2022 was the day a dream came true. Imagine being a contestant and eventually emerging the winner of the biggest talent showcase in Bayelsa, The Bayelsan’s Got the Talent: talent competition, where you get to go home with a grand prize of two million and the push to starting your journey as an entertainer. He auditioned for the Season One of the showcase and got placed in the top ten finalists! which after the first performance, five contestants advance and then the final two. It was surreal when the judges announced him the winner after a nail biting contest between him and the runner-up.
The maiden edition of Bayelsan’s Got the Talent showcase was a success. Mr Sylvester Sede the CEO Silverflame Media has over the years been committed to building and encouraging talents across the state. Bayelsan’s Got the Talent competition is born out of vision and commitment of Mr Sede to push, encourage and showcase Bayelsan talents to world.
Plans for the Season Two of the competition is already set in place with sales of form to commence before the end the 2022.
