IYC CALLS FOR THE IMMEDIATE SACK OF FCT MINISTER, NYESOM WIKE FROM PRESIDENT BOLA TINUBU’s CABINET.

The Central Zone of the Ijaw Youths Council arising from an emergency Congress held at the Ijaw House in Yenagoa have called for the immediate sack of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike over his unguarded statements against the Ijaw race on National Television and in Abalama in Rivers State.

The Chairman of the central zone, Comr Peres Ineifie who presided over the Congress hinted that the move against the FCT MINISTER is a call for total cleansing on the utterances and disjointed history presented by a two time governor of the oil rich state- Rivers.

” How can a sitting cabinet member from the Niger Delta region say we are the minority of the minorities in Ijaw land, Wike need to be schooled that our ancestors fought for Nigeria, our fathers created Rivers State, where was he when Chief Dappa Piriye was leading the Different coalition in the whole of Africa and Nigeria, we will not want to join issues with him, we are telling President Tinubu to sack Wike or he will not enjoy the support from our people”

The emergency Congress concluded that a two kilometre work be observed to peacefully protest against the false statements by the inglorious Minister credited to the fourth largest ethnic group in Nigeria with a population of people from Edo, Ondo, Akwa-Ibom, Cross rivers, Delta, Rivers and Bayelsa.

The Congress which was used to call for the sack of the Minister was attended by youths from all the clans including two chapters from Rivers State as the youths practically use the day being Sunday to hold a worship session praying to God and the deities of the land for the immediate sack of the enemy of the Ijaw nation.

IYC national officials including, Comr Victor-Gow Ayibatari, National Financial Secretary, Comr. Aris Fekorogha, Director of Mobilization,his Deputy, Comr. Bob Emmanuel-Abiye, Legal Adviser of the Council, Comr. Bob Collins Igbeta, Immediate past Speaker, IYC, Mobile Parliament, Comr Ebi Timilaemi, Former National Treasurer, IYC Worldwide,other stakeholders present include Dr Tokpo coronation, APC chieftain, Dr Inebaraton Preye,MD/ CEO Newzmarshal Nig Ltd, Comr Amiebi Turner, Comr. Vincent Kingdom Ebipambonimigha, Clan Chairmen and youth leaders drawn across the State.
