The Acting Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa State, George Turnah (MON), has paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed State Deputy Chairman of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), Dr. Pabara Newton Igwele, in Yenagoa.

Turnah visited Dr. Igwele shortly after his appointment, describing the visit as a demonstration of political goodwill and a commitment to strengthening democratic values across party lines in the state.

During the meeting held in Yenagoa, Turnah congratulated Dr. Igwele on his appointment and wished him success in the discharge of his new responsibilities within the NDC. He noted that leadership positions in political parties come with enormous responsibilities, particularly in promoting unity, development, and democratic participation among citizens.
