Ayakoro: the Obenema of Ayakoro Community marks his 72nd birthday in a grand style…..

As many from all walks of life troops into Ogbia LGA to felicitate with him…

Yestersay was an eventful celebration day in this yuletide season as His Royal Highness, Righteous Genesis Inegbagha, the Obenema of Ayakoro Community marked his 72nd birthday.

Speaking during the occasion, the Chairman of the occasion, Prof. Charles Teddy Adias through his representative, Prof. Arikawei Apuega, described the Celebrant as a leader whose Leadership styles is worthy of emulation; saying that the peace and stability being enjoyed in Ayakoro Community is courtesy of HRH Righteous G. Inegbagha.

The event which was designed for a coincide celebration, marveled the Obenema with the numbers of participants from various places.

“I lack the right expression to emphatically state my gratitude with the turn-up in this event of me marking and celebrating my 72nd birthday. I’m astonished! This really depicts true love”. He said.

The occasion was graced by so many dignitaries, as follows: Chief Samuel Ogbuku (the Deputy Paramount Ruler of Ayakoro Community), Prof. Charles Teddy Adias (Ably represented by Prof. Arikawei Apuega), Dr. Sam Kojo, Barr. Jude Rex Ogbuku, Chief Timipa Tiwei Orunimighe, Hon. Ebinyo Marvin Turner, Engr. Olali Solomon, Mr. Ungbuku Sanamaowi, Hon. Ebiango Egai, Mr. Baba Zee, Hon. Godknows Obein, Hon. Faith Ogidi and many more.

Also in attendance is His Royal Majesty, King Omie Theophilus (who doubled as the Royal father of the day), HRH M.C.C. Franklyn, Mrs. Florence Mark Itekesi and other Royal Highnesses from other Kingdoms and Communities.

While the celebration continued, meritorious Awards of Honour was given to those who in one way or the other has contributed to the peace, unity, development and building of Ayakoro Community. The Awardees Includes; the Celebrant, HRH Righteous Genesis Inegbagha (Award of Excellence on Community Leadership), Chief Samuel Ogbuku PhD, (Award of Excellence on Community Development/Capacity Building), Chief (Barr.) Jude Rex-Ogbuku (Award of Honour on Human capacity Building), and Hon. Faith Ogidi (Award of Honour as National Youth Leader of Ayakoro).

In a goodwill message, the newly appointed Managing Director of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Chief Samuel Ogbuku, extolled the Virtues of the King while describing him as a father and a leader whom he’s learnt so much from over the years of their working closely. He wished the King more prosperous years to live on Earth.

Also, the Obenema of Okiki, His Royal Highness, M.C.C. Franklyn wished his colleague HRH R.G. Inegbagha, another more additional years to his Age.

In appreciation, HRH R.G. Inegbagha thanked his Deputy, Chief Samuel Ogbuku and others for extending hands of fellowship to him at this stage of his life. Explaining that, they have really made him feel another spur of happiness and as such, he is very much grateful and indebted to every dom, dick and harry.

He prayed God to grant all who came to celebrate with him journey mercies to their various destinations.

The highlights of the event was a warm reception of the King and his wife to the venue, an interlude of music from Singing Bird, and songs/dance from the Ayakoro Cultural dance .
