*ACTORS GUILD OF NIGERIA CONDOLES WITH GOV. DOUYE DIRI*
The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) led by the national president Emeka Rollas Accompanied by the newly elected first female Bayelsa Chairman Athy Nestor Oki on Thursday, 27th April paid a condolence visit to His Excellency, Senator Douye Diri, the governor of Bayelsa State in his home town, Isampou, over the passing of his beloved father.
The governor was grateful in reception of the Actors Guild of Nigeria and its President for supporting him in his time of grief.
The nollywood stars who accompanied the President to the Governor’s home town were Mr. Bishop Imeh famously known as Okon, Harry B, Athy Nestor, Ify Eze, Sarah Swit and Kelvin Uvo.
Also present at the visit was comedian I Go Die, MC Awilo, MC Maleek and our very own MC Okpeke.
One of the highlight of the visit was the introduction of the newly sworn-in Bayelsa State Chapter AGN Chairman, Miss Athy Nestor Oki to the governor of Bayelsa State.
Gov. Diri was pleased to meet Miss Nestor and was elated to hear that the young and vibrant Bayelsa Chapter Chairman has made history as the first female chairman of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Bayelsa State Chapter.
The Governor in his remarks received and promised to make his own contributions to the growth and development of actors and entertainers in the State..
