Our development will only be possible if we consciously make that choice and take a lasting step to achieve the goal. It is dependent on US ALL, THE LEADERS AND THE LED.

When we get such messages, everyone likes to throw the net of blame on the next person. To me it is a failure of every single Bayelsan both leaders and the led.

Everyone who has been on the seat failed us and everyone who has been seeing the failure without making efforts to correct also have contributed to the failure. It is Our failure not their failure, the failure is compound.

Now it is dependent on the current leaders and masses to checkmate what has been going wrong to proffer solution. What can we do better to increase the security and welfare of the citizenry, what can we do to make our State more attractive.

Should we commit ourselves to finish the 5 star hotel and also build 3 new skye scrappers for business?

How can we make the elevators work at the State secretariat to improve the working condition of workers.

What do we do to increase agro-products availability and affordability.

Can we subsidize Education for indigens.

How about we Start a State-owned refinery to boost petroleum product availability and subsidize it’s products for every Bayelsa-card carrying individual.

Can we employ more teaching staff in our primary and secondary school sector, how can we refurbish infrastructure and equipment in the sector.

How do we make health more affordable with better quality, should we send Nurses for more specialty training and equip the wards and theater.

How about we continue with the housing program at Anyama Ijaw and other Communities, could it reduce cost of living for workers and provide a transport bus to work.

Can we be more serious with our Public transport system by getting buses to commute the major LGA Headquarters, could that ease transport cost?

How about fishing trawlers to the deep seas we are blessed with at SILGA, BRASS, EKEREMO and others.

Can we build a massive resort on the OTUO (island) at Anyama Ijaw river for tourism and relaxation?… Many more things including road networks.

These things can be achieved with less than a Trillion Naira, can we start working towards them.

The Government and the people need to make conscious choices of development and with that unity of purpose, there is no feat too high for BAYELSA TO ACCOMPLISH.

A BETTER BAYELSA STATE IS POSSIBLE.
