Unified Non-Natives Bayelsa Women Wing Led by Comrade Nancy Edoh Visits Orphanage, Spreads Love in Annual Outreach

In a heartwarming display of compassion and unity, the Women Wing of the United Non-Natives in Bayelsa State, led by its Coordinator, Comrade Nancy Edoh Onome, has carried out a visit to an orphanage home as part of its annual humanitarian activities.

The outreach, now in its third edition, saw members extend love and care to vulnerable children through donations, interaction, and words of encouragement. With their resounding slogan, “Together We Laugh,” the group created an atmosphere of joy and shared humanity throughout the visit.

Comrade Nancy Edoh Onome, who serves as the Women Coordinator of the Unified Non-Natives, speaking to TVAFRICA24 explained that the initiative was inspired by the desire to celebrate Mother’s Day in a meaningful way. According to her, the group chose to spend the day with the children at the orphanage, sharing love in their own little way, before also celebrating themselves as mothers.

The visit underscored the women wing’s role as a key decision-making body among non-natives in Bayelsa State, continuing to champion unity, welfare, and social responsibility within their host communities.

The event was filled with emotional moments as the children were treated to a memorable experience, reinforcing the bond between the group and the community.

Members also expressed appreciation to the Coordinator, Chief Chinedu Arthur, for his exemplary leadership and unwavering commitment to the growth and unity of the body. They described his leadership as inspiring and instrumental in sustaining the group’s vision.

The outreach not only brought smiles to the faces of the children but also highlighted the enduring values of kindness, motherhood, and collective responsibility in building a better society.
