Turnah’s Leadership Praised as PDP Stabilizes in Bayelsa
YENAGOA, Nigeria — Leaders and members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa State have commended George Turnah, the Acting chairman of the party in the state, for what they described as exemplary leadership that has helped restore stability, unity, and renewed confidence within the party’s ranks.
Speaking on behalf of a coalition of party faithful and stakeholders, political support groups in the state expressed appreciation for the administrative style and inclusive approach adopted by Turnah since assuming office as Acting chairman. The group noted that under Turnah’s stewardship, the PDP in Bayelsa has witnessed a renewed sense of direction, with improved coordination among party leaders, grassroots mobilization, and stronger engagement with members across the various local government areas of the state.
