Pastor Reuben Pays Last Respect to Late Hon Princess Ogbotimibo Alabra  in Amatolo Community

The Founder of the Pastor Reuben Initiative for Good Leadership and Accountability, (PRIFGLA) and Member, Governing Council of the University of Uyo, Pastor Reuben, has paid his last respect to the Late Hon Princess Ogbotimibo Alabra  at Amatolo Community, describing her death as a painful loss to the initiative, the political class and the wider community.

The Late  Princess Ogbotimibo, who until her passing served as Treasurer of the Pastor Reuben Initiative, was widely regarded as a strong political force. She was loved by a large percentage of political figures due to her vibrant social lifestyle, humility and ability to connect across divides. Her influence and presence, many noted, extended beyond the religious space into the political landscape.

Although Pastor Reuben was unavoidably absent at the burial ceremony, he was represented by his wife, Mrs Mercy Reuben, who led a delegation of members of the initiative to the solemn event in Amatolo Community.

Among those who accompanied her were prominent political figures within the initiative, including the National Director-General mr Spokesman Frank Eseimokumo, the State director Dr Ndotimi and the State coordinator Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria, who also serves as the National Secretary of the Pastor Reuben Initiative, Hon Erepamowei Ogbomo, and other notable personalities.

Speaking on behalf of her husband, Mrs. Mercy Reuben described the late Princess as a dependable and committed financial steward whose dedication and transparency strengthened the foundation of the initiative. She noted that beyond her official role, the deceased was a rallying point for political actors and community stakeholders.

“The vacuum she has left behind will be difficult to fill. She was not only a treasurer but a bridge builder and a woman of influence,” she said.

Dignitaries at the event paid glowing tributes, recounting her political strength, generosity, and unwavering support for community development. Many described her as a woman whose lifestyle and openness endeared her to about 80 percent of political stakeholders across party lines.

Prayers were offered for the peaceful repose of her soul, while calls were made for unity and continuity of the values she stood for during her lifetime.
