INC PRESIDENTIAL HOPEFUL, HIGH CHIEF MACDONALD IGBADIWEI COMMENDS ELECTORAL COMMITTEE, NATIONAL LEADERSHIP OVER E-VOTING SENSITISATION
The frontline Presidential candidate of the forthcoming Ijaw National Congress (INC) elections, High Chief Barr. Macdonald Igbadiwei, has commended the INC Electoral Committee and the National Leadership for organizing a comprehensive sensitisation and interactive session for all aspirants, including the demonstration of the e-voting process and electoral guidelines
The event, which took place at the Ijaw House in Yenagoa, provided aspirants the opportunity to witness firsthand the demonstration of the electronic voting system that will be used in the forthcoming elections, while also engaging the Electoral Committee on critical aspects of the process.
Speaking after the session, High Chief Igbadiwei described the initiative as timely, transparent, and confidence-building, noting that it reflects the commitment of the INC leadership to credible and inclusive electoral practices.
He further noted that the initiative demonstrates the readiness of the leadership to adopt modern electoral systems that promote fairness, accountability, and trust among stakeholders.
High Chief Igbadiwei also called on fellow aspirants and the entire Ijaw nation to continue to support the Electoral Committee and remain committed to a peaceful, credible, and transparent electoral process.
He reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the unity, progress, and shared prosperity of the Ijaw people, emphasizing that the forthcoming election represents an opportunity to strengthen the collective voice and future of the Ijaw nation.
