In a solemn yet reassuring gesture of compassion and continuity, Pastor Reuben, Founder of the Pastor Reuben Initiative for Good Leadership and Accountability, PRIFGLA on paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Honourable Princess Ogbotimibo Alabra, pledging to continue the educational scholarship of her children in honour of her enduring legacy of service.
The late Princess Alabra, until her passing, served as Treasurer of the Initiative, where she was widely regarded as a disciplined administrator, a trusted financial steward, and a woman deeply committed to community development.
Speaking during the visit, Pastor Reuben described the late Princess as “a pillar of integrity whose commitment to the vision of the Initiative went beyond duty.”
“Princess Ogbotimibo Alabra did not just serve; she believed in the cause. She gave her heart, her time, and her strength to this work. Supporting her children’s education is not charity—it is a responsibility we owe her legacy,” Pastor Reuben said.
Family members, visibly moved by the visit and the assurance given, expressed gratitude for the gesture, describing it as a source of comfort during a difficult period.
“This promise gives us hope and strength. It shows that our sister’s labour was not in vain and that her children will not be forgotten,” a family representative noted.
Pastor Reuben further emphasized that the Initiative would continue to uphold the values Princess Alabra stood for, particularly accountability, service, and compassion.
“Her seat may be empty, but her impact remains alive. We will continue the work she helped to build, and we will stand by her family,” he added.
The visit concluded with prayers for the repose of the soul of the late Princess and words of encouragement to her children, as community members hailed the move as a rare demonstration of leadership rooted in empathy and remembrance.
