PASTOR REUBEN PAYS TRIBUTE AT SERVICE OF SONG FOR LATE BAYELSA DEPUTY GOVERNOR

Founder Pastor Reuben Initiative for Good Leadership and Accountability, Pastor Reuben Clifford wilson, was among top dignitaries who attended the Service of Songs held in honour of the late Deputy Governor of Bayelsa State at the Banquet Hall.

The solemn gathering brought together family members, top government officials, political leaders, traditional rulers, clergy, and well-wishers to celebrate the life and enduring legacy of the departed statesman.

Speaking with reporters of TvAfrica24 News at the event, Chief Pastor Reuben described the late Deputy Governor as “a leader whose life was defined by service, humility, and an unwavering commitment to the progress of Bayelsa State.”

According to him, “His passion for good governance and accountability reflected the ideals we continue to promote. He served with sincerity and left behind a legacy that will inspire both present and future leaders.”

Pastor Reuben, who also serving as a Member Governing Council University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, noted that the late Deputy Governor played a stabilizing role in the state’s political landscape.

“Bayelsa has lost a bridge-builder and a man of peace. His absence will be deeply felt, but his values and contributions will continue to guide us,” he added.

The Service of Songs featured hymns, prayers, and moving tributes from colleagues, friends, and family members, all highlighting the deceased’s dedication to leadership, unity, and public service.

The event marked another moment in the series of funeral activities lined up to honour the late Deputy Governor, whose impact on governance and community development remains widely acknowledged.
