Current Miss Nollywood winner, Hassana Ozohu Salisu, has been appointed Special Adviser to the President-Elect of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) on Entrepreneurial Development, as the Guild continues to unveil key appointments ahead of the inauguration of its new national leadership.
The appointment was announced in an official notification issued by the National President-Elect of the Guild, Abubakar Yakubu.
According to the statement, Hassana Ozohu Salisu, who is the current winner of the Miss Nollywood beauty pageant, is a hardworking young woman with so much to contribute to the incoming administration. The President-Elect noted that the role is designed to strengthen entrepreneurship and economic empowerment among AGN members nationwide.
The Office of the Special Adviser on AGN Entrepreneurial Development is tasked with fostering an entrepreneurial culture within the Guild, advising on business development strategies, promoting innovative income-generating initiatives, and facilitating mentorship programmes aimed at equipping actors and creative professionals with sustainable business skills.
The President-Elect further stated that Hassana’s appointment was based on her proven expertise in entrepreneurship, strong commitment to member empowerment, and capacity to drive innovative, growth-oriented initiatives that align with the vision of the incoming AGN administration.
“This appointment reflects our confidence in her ability to help reposition AGN members for financial sustainability and long-term creative enterprise development,” the statement read.
The position, described as a voluntary service to the Guild, was also highlighted as a significant contribution to AGN’s institutional legacy, with assurances that such service would be acknowledged with the highest regard.
Hassana Ozohu Salisu, Miss Nollywood International 2025, has also been formally invited to attend the official swearing-in ceremony, where her appointment letter will be presented. The ceremony is scheduled to hold on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., at the AGN National Office, Gaduwa Estate, Abuja (FCT).
Industry stakeholders have described the appointment as a strategic move that underscores the Guild’s renewed focus on entrepreneurship, innovation, and member welfare under the incoming leadership led by Abubakar Yakubu.
As Miss Nollywood International 2025, Hassana Ozohu Salisu has worked tirelessly for the success of the brand and has won several awards for her selfless service to humanity, among other notable achievements that add to her clean and commendable record.
