THE ONLY RECOGNISED PDP EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE IN RIVERS STATE IS THAT LED BY AARON CHUKWUEMEKA – TURNAH

The office of the Zonal Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), South South Zone, Hon. Barr. Alabh George Turnah, MON, wishes to clarify, for the avoidance of doubt, that the only recognised and legitimate Executive Committee of the Party in Rivers State is the one ably led by Hon. Aaron Chukwuemeka, in line with the Constitution of our great Party and the decisions of its duly constituted organs.

The Zonal Secretary of the PDP, South South Zone insists that the Party will not tolerate indiscipline, any kind of insubordination, or the creation of parallel or illegal structures within the Zone. The PDP in the South South remains one, united, and indivisible, and any action capable of undermining its unity and stability will be firmly resisted.

Turnah hereby warns fifth columnists and political schemers to desist from acts, plots, or publications capable of causing disunity, confusion, or division within the Zone. Such actions are inimical to the collective interest of the Party and will attract appropriate disciplinary measures in accordance with the PDP Constitution.

He calls on all PDP faithful in Rivers State to remain strong, vigilant, and united behind the Hon. Aaron Chukwuemeka-led Executive Committee, which remains the authentic and recognised leadership of the Party in the State and is best positioned to drive the growth and progress of the PDP.

Party faithful and people of Rivers State are enjoined to disregard any story of the setting up of a Caretaker Committee for the Party in Rivers State as there’s no such decision taken by any of the recognised and legitimate organ or leadership of the Party at any level, and those promoting or associating with them do so at their own risk.

The PDP in the South South Zone is united under the leadership of the National Vice Chairman, South South, Chief Dan Osi Orbih and under the effective guidance of the National Leader of the Party, His Excellency Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON.

The PDP in the South South Zone remains committed to discipline, unity, constitutional order, and the protection of the Party’s integrity at all times.
