PRIFGLA Student Wing National Exco Meets Director-General to Advance Good Governance and Student Empowerment

The National Executive Council (National Exco) of the PRIFGLA Student Wing has held a fruitful and strategic meeting with. Dr. Ndutimi Donkuno, the Director-General of the Pastor Reuben Initiative for Good Governance, Leadership and Accountability (PRIFGLA), at the Initiative’s headquarters in Yenagoa.
The meeting, led by.Comr. Adika Mild Ebinumu (Ebiano), the Students Director, focused on strengthening collaboration between the student body and PRIFGLA in advancing good governance, leadership development and accountability among Nigerian youths and the larger society.
In a press statement signed by Hon. Betty Otobotekere, Publicity Secretary National Executive Council PRIFGLA Student Wing said
During the engagement, members of the National Exco reaffirmed their readiness to contribute meaningfully to national development and identified key areas for immediate partnership, including: Youth Leadership Training: Joint workshops and seminars to groom ethical, visionary and accountable future leaders,Good Governance Advocacy: Mobilising students across tertiary institutions to promote civic responsibility and active citizenship and Educational Support: Exploring scholarship, mentorship and capacity-building opportunities in line with PRIFGLA’s commitment to education.
Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Ndutimi Donkuno commended the students for their proactive approach and emphasized the vital role of young people in nation-building.
In his remarks, the Students Director described the engagement as a major step toward practical and impactful student advocacy, noting that the collaboration would move beyond ideas to measurable action on campuses and within communities.
The meeting also served as a familiarisation visit and ended on a warm and convivial note, as members of the PRIFGLA Student Wing formally welcomed the new Director-General with light refreshments. Dr. Donkuno appreciated the gesture and graciously reciprocated with a cash gift in support of the student wing.
The PRIFGLA Student Wing remains steadfast in its commitment to promoting student welfare, academic excellence and responsible youth leadership.
