I’m not your regular kind of lady. Life has thrown many shades of color at me, but I’m not one to back down, give up, lose, or accept defeat. The only defeat I’ve ever taken in life was the defeat of love—from the wrong psycho 😂.

The Kogi State Actors Guild of Nigeria election, which was never concluded, was stained by fear and manipulation. Men who should have embraced liberation were instead intimidated by the idea of a young woman leading. They chose to play a dirty game. But one thing they failed to understand is this: justice belongs to God. When justice is not upheld in the halls of power, I don’t waste words on those who lack professionalism, and who don’t even understand English properly, who are sceard of changes and new principle’s 😂✅

We had planned to launch our 50-movie project in Kogi State, a vision meant to empower and uplift. But the so-called “empty vessels” Legendary old men as the claimed them self. (Respect is to be reciprocated. scoffed, saying, “Let’s see how she would lead.” ” she is too Young to lead us” Politics, unfortunately, doesn’t care whether you’re a girl with good intentions or not. When greed, selfishness, and blindness cloud the eyes of those meant to pave the way for the next generation, stagnation becomes inevitable. When you are not active in the system, not engaging the youth on Activities but rather taking advantage of innocent people, finances and young girl’s, and wanting such dirty system not to be changed because you all are self aware of my strength to stop such unruly principles.

Rumor has it that one of the many unprofessionals bragged about destroying my election. But here’s the sad truth, dear fellow Kogites: you didn’t destroy my election—you destroyed an opportunity for young, creative, and talented individuals in Kogi State. You shut down a platform that was meant to protect and nurture young minds. That election was never about me. I have led, and I’m still leading. I contested to change a system that is slowly dying. I brought my knowledge, ideas, impact, and opportunities home—but you chose to remain in the shadows instead of joining a movement for growth. Because you hated liberation, you hated to be told and thought the Truth, and to follow a system that truly leads for the people.

Now, you threaten my life over an election. But I am not just a little lady—I am a woman whose God is far greater than anything you serve, and I will always stand tall in His light.

To the young creatives of Kogi State, I send this message:
I, Queen Hassana Ozohu Salisu—Miss Nollywood International and Director of The Omedia House, Self & Sall am here for you. If your priority is talent, creativity, and growth, and you are ready to walk away from toxicity to pursue your dreams with like minds, then my doors are open.

From our recently concluded mega event, over 50 young and seasoned creatives from Kogi State participated and will be working with my management. This is the same me, what you all don’t understand is I wasn’t fighting to lead, I was born to lead, and leading and management I had being doing, and groomed my self to do. If the state doesn’t welcome me, some state else would gladly do, they say a prophet is appreciated outsiders of his territory anyways.
