Ex-Agitators Hail Otuaro’s Education Drive for Peace in Niger Delta

Ex-agitators under the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) have commended the Administrator, Chief Dr. Dennis Burutu Otuaro, for what they described as a historic step in making education the foundation of peace and progress in the Niger Delta.
The commendation came following the deployment of 141 foreign delegates under PAP, marking the first large-scale educational deployment in the history of the programme.
National Chairman of Phase 2 ex-agitators, Ibena Rufus Salvation, praised Otuaro for his extraordinary efforts in steering the programme toward impactful and positive change.
“This is unprecedented in the history of the PAP office. For the first time, 141 foreign delegates are being deployed under one barge, and this shows the Administrator’s commitment to changing lives,” Salvation said.
The ex-agitator’s leader also noted that education is one of the strongest tools for securing peace, adding that the programme’s renewed focus on it has given them hope for a brighter future.
He added that the initiative was not only a milestone for the Amnesty Programme but also a demonstration of Otuaro’s love for the people of the Niger Delta.“
“This is a clear indication of love for his people and delivering the dividends of democracy in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of Mr. President.
“We are confident that with education as the foundation, peace and progress in the Niger Delta will be sustained,” Ibena stated.
He urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the opportunity and prepare themselves for a brighter future, stressing that education is a rare privilege that can transform their lives and the entire Niger Delta region if taken seriously.
