*CIISM Set to Hold Capacity Building Workshop, Induction, Award Ceremony*

Arrangements are ongoing for the hosting of Chartered Institute of Information and Strategy Management (CIISM) 2025 triple event of capacity building programme, induction of new members as well as award ceremony.

Scheduled to take place on Friday, 15th August 2025 at Army Resources Center Asokoro, Abuja, the event has as the theme: Strategic Synergies: Leveraging Arts Management & Information Strategy for Nigeria’s Development.

Guest Speakers include, Chairman, CIISM Bot, Prof. Paul Bolorunduro, and VP CIISM from the University of Ibadan, Prof. Oyeyemi Mathew Olugbenga.

Special guests expected include, Dr. Peter Mrakpor (SAN), Amb. Dr. Uduogho, Alhaji Dr. Shehu Mohammed, Sarkin Shanun Kano, Oba Dr. Alaba Omotunde, HE Amb. Dr. Abayomi Mumuni and host of others.

Invited inductees are advised to proceed to make the mandatory payment of ₦20,000 at the designated bank for registration, which covers materials & certificate.

The Chartered Institute of Information and Strategy Management (CIISM) formerly known as Institute of Information and Strategy Management (IISM) is a foremost educational institution and the largest professional body of information and strategic management in Africa.

Top among the awardees who emerged last year include, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, Governor of Yobe state, Mai Mala Buni, former Governor of Enugu state, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, former Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, a former member of the Senate, Grace Folashade Bent among others.

The Institute says this year prominent personalities who are making contributions towards the development of information and strategic management ecosystem have been shortlisted for recognition.
