In a significant gathering held at the secretariat of the Wind of Progress Forum, the esteemed leader, Hon Chief Berry Negerese and De Tukpa of ancient Iduwini kingdom welcomed Bayelsa born Queen,Miss Elizabeth Emmanuel, the crowned Miss Nollywood Culture and Tourism Nigeria, and CEO of House of Gold Film Entertainment. This event, attended by key stakeholders, marks a pivotal moment for the future of the entertainment industry in Bayelsa State.

During her speech, Queen Elizabeth expressed her admiration for Hon Chief Berry Negerese, commending his laudable commitment to humanitarian services and support across the state. She stated, “You are one of Bayelsa’s vision-driven leaders that I have followed from a distance. Today, I am glad to be here to share innovative ideas on how we can collaboratively elevate the Bayelsa State entertainment industry to become a significant player in the global market.”
The Queen emphasized the potential of the entertainment sector, which stands as the second-largest economy worldwide. She sought of the wind of progress forum partnership with the House of Gold Film Entertainment Academy, an organization dedicated to training and supporting aspiring filmmakers.

In response, Chief Berry expressed gratitude for the Queen’s recognition of the Wind of Progress Forum’s contributions to society. He assured her that her request would be taken seriously as they will be glad to strive to contribute to the industry by nurturing more film directors, producers, and actors capable of competing with established industry leaders from the state . He also encouraged her to seek government support to ensure Bayelsa entertainment industry strive competitively in the global market.
The meeting also included Hon Bar Japan Udoji, State Coordinator of the Wind of Progress Forum, and Hon Victor Ebiyekon, Secretary of the Forum, among other distinguished guests.
