Recall that the Ag. Chairman, hinted on Monday, June 2, 2025, that the party will soon embark on a thank you tour across all 105 political wards in the state. The initiative he said is intended to express gratitude to the people for their support, loyalty and commitment to the PDP during the 2023 gubernatorial campaign and elections, which resulted in the successful re-election of Governor Douye Diri for a second term in office.
He further stated that, activities for the tour will be made public in the coming weeks, to allow party members and supporters, far and near to be able to participate actively in the event which is coming at a critical time for the party as it seeks to maintain unity and strengthen its ties with the electorate.
In a sudden twist of event, the Bayelsa State Government released a scheduled time table for and has commenced a thank you tour across the 8 LGA’s in the State.
It is good to know that the Ag. Chairman, George Turnah, MON, is awakening the Prosperity Government.
