GbaramatuVoice is proud to announce that the 10th Anniversary Celebration and the 2025 Niger Delta Night of Honour will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at the prestigious Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city.
This historic event marks a decade of impactful journalism, credible storytelling, and dedicated advocacy for the Niger Delta region. Since its establishment in 2015, GbaramatuVoice has grown to become a leading media voice promoting peace, development, environmental justice, and the preservation of Niger Delta heritage.
The 10th Anniversary Celebration will reflect on the journey of GbaramatuVoice over the past ten years, highlighting key milestones, transformative stories, and strategic partnerships that have shaped the region’s narrative. It will also unveil the organization’s vision for the future, including new projects and media innovations.
Niger Delta Night of Honour 2025
The Niger Delta Night of Honour, a flagship initiative of GbaramatuVoice, will recognize and honour distinguished individuals, government institutions, corporate bodies, traditional rulers, youth leaders, and civil society actors who have made exceptional contributions to peacebuilding, infrastructure development, economic empowerment, environmental protection, education, and cultural preservation in the Niger Delta.
Award categories will be released in the coming weeks, with a transparent nomination process open to the public. Recipients will be selected by an independent panel of distinguished professionals and community leaders.

The event will bring together dignitaries from across Nigeria and the Niger Delta, including ministers, governors, diplomats, lawmakers, media executives, traditional rulers, industry leaders, civil society representatives, youth advocates, and the creative community.
The 10th Anniversary and Awards Gala will feature keynote addresses, cultural displays, documentary screenings, musical performances, and the official unveiling of the next phase of GbaramatuVoice’s development agenda.
