Today a powerful delegation led by High Chief Osomkime Blankson Esq paid a visit to one of Ijaw respected leaders Engr. Preye Berezi at his home town in Kaiama.
Chairman of the organizing committee Barr. Osomkime gave an elaborate explanation of Dr. Alfred Izon-Ebi forthcoming tripartite occasions scheduled for 20th May, 2025 at Yenagoa that is aimed at further promoting our rich Ijaw cultural heritage.
In a brief response, Engr Berezi said, “I am glad Izon-Ebi honored me as Chief Launcher of his book that day. I will not take that respect for granted. I shall be there to carry out my duty and support the process.”
He further said, just like what the Yorubas, Igbos and other tribes are doing in promoting their artists. We need to also deliberately promote and encourage ours”.
“Alfred Izon-Ebi is making the entire Ijaw nation proud with his God given talents, hence there is need for everybody to support him on areas necessary.
Engr. Preye Berezi also commended the committee for the dedication and effort so far in ensuring that day is remarkable in our history as Ijaw people.
