SANITATION EXERCISE FOR APRIL, 2025
This is to inform the public that the usual monthly environmental sanitation day exercise holds on Saturday, 26th April, 2025.
Residents are expected to clean their surroundings, cut grasses, clear drains, and natural waterways to allow free flow of water.
There will be no restriction of movement between the hours of 7am to 10am.
Due to the UNIFIED TERTIARY MATRICULATION EXAMINATION (JAMB) that will be holding on same day 26th of April 2025, across various centers within and outside the state capital.
Resident are still expected to clean there environment during the exercises.
All workers on essential duties are to take permission from the environment sanitation authority.
The authority expresses appreciation to all the communities in Yenagoa metropolis for their mobilization and cooperation.
Our gratitude also go to leaders of the various trading units at the Swali main market, Kpansia, Opolo, Etegwe and other markets for their indication to ensure full compliance and participation of their members during the upcoming environmental sanitation exercise.
The Authority wishes to use this medium to call on corporate organization to partner with us in cleaning our environment.
Note: Playing of football and riding of bicycle will no longer be tolerated within the period of 7am to 10am.
Keeping our environment clean is a collective responsibility.
