Ekpemupolo Visits Niger Delta Media Centre, Commends GbaramatuVoice for Excellence

Rt. Hon. Ekpemupolo Idukedoumene Samuel, House Leader of the Legislative Arm of Warri South-West Local Government Council, Leader of all Legislative Leaders in Delta State, and National Financial Secretary of the National Councillors Forum of Nigeria (NCFN), paid an official visit to the newly unveiled Niger Delta Media Centre, established by GbaramatuVoice International, in Ogunu, Warri, Delta State.

The distinguished legislator was received by Jacob Brakere Abai, the Publisher and CEO of GbaramatuVoice, who led him on a detailed tour of the state-of-the-art media facility. The centre is designed to enhance storytelling, amplify Niger Delta voices, and showcase the region’s cultural, economic, and environmental realities to the global stage.

During his visit, Rt. Hon. Ekpemupolo delivered a speech in which he praised the efforts of GbaramatuVoice in raising the bar for media practice in the Niger Delta. “GbaramatuVoice has truly set a high standard for others to follow,” he said. “This media organization not only inspires excellence but also serves as a beacon of hope for the Niger Delta. Your commitment to giving our people a platform to share their stories is commendable, and I urge others to emulate this remarkable example.”

He emphasized the importance of the media in driving positive change, fostering unity, and advocating for the development of the Niger Delta region. He also expressed optimism that the centre would strengthen communication and collaboration among stakeholders, including government, private sector players, and local communities.

The visit highlighted GbaramatuVoice’s pivotal role in promoting regional identity, addressing social issues, and encouraging meaningful dialogue within and beyond the Niger Delta.
