City Boy Movement South-South Leaders Storm Owerri for Renewed Hope National Youth Tour

The Bayelsa State Coordinator of the City Boy Movement, HH, Chief (Barr.) Blankson Osomkime, has arrived in Owerri, Imo State, alongside other South-South leaders of the movement for the Renewed Hope National Youth Tour scheduled to hold from March 13 to 14, 2026.

Osomkime, who is leading the Bayelsa delegation, joined his counterparts from across the South-South region under the coordination of the South-South Zonal Coordinator of the movement, Senator Asuquo Ekpenyong.
The South-South caucus is in Owerri to participate in the youth-focused engagement programme organised by the movement’s National Patron, Barrister Seyi Tinubu. The tour is part of ongoing nationwide activities aimed at mobilizing and engaging young Nigerians in support of the Renewed Hope agenda.
Sources within the movement revealed that the programme will bring together youth leaders, political stakeholders, and supporters from across the region to deliberate on strategies for strengthening youth participation in governance and national development.
Speaking shortly after their arrival, members of the delegation expressed enthusiasm about the initiative, describing it as a platform that empowers young people and deepens their involvement in the political process.
The Renewed Hope National Youth Tour is expected to feature interactive sessions, leadership discussions, and grassroots engagement activities designed to inspire Nigerian youths and promote active citizenship.
The presence of key South-South leaders, including Bayelsa’s Director of the movement, Chief Blankson Osomkime, underscores the growing momentum of the City Boy Movement across the region as it continues to mobilize support among young Nigerians.
