PAP Chairman Hails Tompolo on Honorary Doctorate Award — A Well-Deserved Honour!

The National Chairman of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP) Phase II, Gen. Ibena Rufus Salvation, has congratulated High Chief Government Ekpemupolo (Tompolo) on his conferment of an Honorary Doctorate of Laws (LLD) by Edwin Clark University, Kiagbodo, Delta State.
Gen. Salvation described the award as truly well-deserved, praising Tompolo’s outstanding contributions to peace, unity, and stability in the Niger Delta—efforts that have boosted oil production and strengthened the nation’s economy.
He also applauded the PAP Administrator, Dr. Dennis Otuaro, for celebrating Tompolo and for his continuous dedication to the welfare, progress, and empowerment of Ijaw sons and daughters across different fields.
Gen. Salvation noted that Tompolo’s humanitarian spirit, investments in education, and devotion to youth empowerment clearly reflect a leader whose heart remains with his people.
He commended Edwin Clark University for honouring a man whose impact continues to shape the Niger Delta and prayed for God’s guidance and strength for Tompolo as he continues to serve the region and Nigeria with wisdom and compassion.
