MFM Daily Devotional 2nd November 2020 Monday Outline

You do not need walk into a physical prison before you become a prisoner. The world is filled with spiritual prisoners. Today’s devotional study will get you out of the prison of darkness if you happen to be its blind victim. A man attended a party, met a girl their and later on committed sexual immorality with her.

The girl gave him her address and invited him to pay her a visit by 11.00 pm on that day, when the man got to the place, to his amazement, the people told him that the person whom he came looking for died two years before. The people advised the young man to go and “look after himself ” spiritually when they sensed that the man had committed sexual immorality with the dead.

MFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL 1ST NOVEMBER 2020 – GIVE NO ROOM TO THE ENEMY

The weakness of some people is the poor management of their own secrets. The Lord Jesus asked us to be secretive about some prayers, because He knew that there are some secret prayers that we must pray. When you are surrounded by jealousy and envy, secrecy may be the answer. The Bible says that, though you are to love your neighbours, pray for them too. You are also to preach to them, you are not to tell reveal your secrets to them. It is in this way that many have released their secrets to their enemies. You must locate your weakness, because the seat of the strong man may be that your weakness.

Not only are you to locate your weakness, you are also to destroy it. It is in doing so that the strongman will have no seat in you anymore. These are lessons to be learnt from the school of tribulations. Make use of the lessons which you have learnt and you will begin to experience a resounding victory.
Today’s text has given us a list of eligible prisoners in the dark prison of life. Do not allow the devil to draft you into one of his open prisons.

Memory Verse: Isaiah 56:4 “For thus saith the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;”

Motivational Quote: When you fear the future, you destroy the present.

Prophetic Word: Your night time shall expire.

HYMN: Abide with me; fast falls the eventide

Fairest Lord Jesus, Ruler of all nature,
O Thou of God and man the Son,
Thee will I cherish, Thee will I honor,
Thou, my soul’s glory, joy and crown.

Fair are the meadows, fairer still the woodlands,
Robed in the blooming garb of spring;
Jesus is fairer, Jesus is purer,
Who makes the woeful heart to sing.

Fair is the sunshine,
Fairer still the moonlight,
And all the twinkling starry host;
Jesus shines brighter, Jesus shines purer
Than all the angels heaven can boast.

All fairest beauty, heavenly and earthly,
Wondrously, Jesus, is found in Thee;
None can be nearer, fairer or dearer,
Than Thou, my Savior, art to me.

Beautiful Savior! Lord of all the nations!
Son of God and Son of Man!
Glory and honor, praise, adoration,
Now and forever more be Thine.
